I don't think Dono Kirkov was in the Македоно-Одринското Опълчение. He is not on the list opulchentsi from Drenoveni. Dono and a large group of Drenovcheni including my maternal grandfather were in the USA in 1912 and as a group, went back and joined the regular Bulgarian army.
