Рена Молхо (на гръцки: Ρένα Μόλχο) е гръцка историчка, чийто научен интерес е насочен главно към различните аспекти на османската и еврейската история и култура и по-конкретно към сефарадските евреи в Солун.

Биография редактиране

Родена е през юни 1946 година в големия македонски град Солун, Гърция. Молхо учи европейска история в Еврейския университет в Йерусалим и в Солунския университет. Защитава докторантура с отличия в Старсбургския университет. Участва в множество симпозиуми, телевизионни и радио предавания в Гърция и чужбина. Авторка е на множество научни статии, публикувани в Гърция и в международни научни книги, енциклопедия и журнали. Молхо преподава историята на евреите в Гърция на семинари и в 1991 година е съоснователка на Обществото за изследване на гръцките евреи. От 1999 година в продължение на 8 години преподава история на гръцките евреи в Атинския университет, който е единствената академична институция в Гърция, която включва в програмата си курсове по история на евреите. Публикува множество научни статии на различни езици, сред които са гръцки, иврит и турски. Заради научната си работа в 2000 година е наградена с Награда на Атинската академия. В 2010 година е отличена с Орден „Академични палми“ заради нейните множество научни приноси към френската академия.[1]
