English: Franco-Flemish composer Gilles Binchois (ca. 1400-1460). Watercolour from Le Champion des dames by Martin Le Franc (1395?-1460?). Le Champion des dames, of which about ten manuscripts are extant, was printed in Lyon in 1488 and in Paris in 1530.
